Bukit Tinggi, Pahang
30th July 2003
Me, Tan Sri Ismail, Yusof, Hj Darwis
Beautiful course, perched on the hill slopes
Misty morning dew in the high hills
Sun cropping out of the enchanting hills
Hj Darwis teeing off into the morning mist
Undulating rocky fairways
Tan Sri Ismail teeing off from the hill into the morning
Fairways surrounded by virgin jungle
Yusof on the tee - into the unseen green
Flush greens along carved fairways
Hj Darwis thought it would have been another bogey
Bungalow houses by the slopes of the course
Tan Sri Ismail on the fairway approaching green
Uphill, downhill, scenic fairways
Yusof thought he could reach the green in 2
The Club House at the end of the fairway

THE WISE WAY - Paradoxical Commandments

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centred; Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone may destroy overnight; Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous; Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people may often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is all between you and god; It was never between you and them anyway.
