Bukit Darmo Golf Club, Surabaya

Surabaya, Indonesia
7th June 2005
Manap, Jalil, Azharuddin, Hj Norahaman, Azmi, Raduan
Mostly flat, wide fairways and water at its usual places
Fly robin fly ... up up to the sky ...
Undulating, man made moles and roughs
Buggy on track only - caddies an abundance
Popular course, have to wait for fairways to clear
Exquisite houses along the fairways with 40 feet walls
Deep bunkers, friendly fairways with short roughs
Matured trees lined the fairway edges
Pristine lakes, beautiful landscaping
Situated at the suburban Surabaya borough
Azharuddin, teeing off into the forest on the left (OB)
Little palm trees protect buggy tracks from stray balls
Dawami, 3 wood is good enough for 220 metres
Abundance of fairways and wide greens
Jalil - aiming the tall building with a 3 wood

THE WISE WAY - Paradoxical Commandments

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centred; Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone may destroy overnight; Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous; Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people may often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is all between you and god; It was never between you and them anyway.
