Green Acres Golf and Country Resort

Kuala Ibai, Terengganu
20th May 2009

Me, Mohd Ali Kimik, Mohd Hanafiah

Haji Halmi, Dr Haidar, Ruslan Effendi - before the tee-off
The majestic Club House
Jalaluddin, Mohd Ali Kimik, Mohd Hanafiah
Club house across the moat - as seen from hole 18
Mohd Hanafiah and Jalaluddin - waiting for fairway to clear
Jalaluddin - putting for par, after the birdie miss
(and there were 4 birdies for the day)

Me - after tee-off - lean too much to the right (so they say)
Mohd Ali Kimik - aiming for the green, if possible!
Mohd Hanafiah - into the par 5 (longest drive) fairway
The moat next to the fairway - as seen from the Club House
Jalaluddin - Medal A Champion (need we say more?)
Me - after the 2nd shot - on to the green, hopefully
Mohd Ali Kimik - for his par, played well that day
Mohd Hanafiah - into the par 3 green, but a little bit short
Mohd Ali Kimik, Me and Ahmad Redzuan
Jalaluddin - the swing of a champ (8 birdies for the 2 days)
Me - 2nd shot into the long par 5, 18th
Mohd Ali Kimik - on pose for the road
Mohd Hanafiah - played very ok that day, and won!
Buggies in a row, waiting for the trip to the greens
Jalaluddin - serious, careful and concentrates
Me - apparently followed through my swing!
Mohd Ali Kimik - teeing off into the 'kuang' fairway
Mohd Hanafiah - waiting for fairway to clear
And so the tournament starts
(UiTM 12th Sports Carnival - Golf!)

THE WISE WAY - Paradoxical Commandments

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centred; Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone may destroy overnight; Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous; Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people may often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is all between you and god; It was never between you and them anyway.
